Welcome to the website for Alderton Plant Nursery. The Nursery has been established for over 20 years and is renown for it’s award winning fuchsias.

We have recently taken over the nursery after the retirement of the previous owners, and will continue with their love of fuchsias and expand the other areas of the Nursery.

My background has been 20 years in horticulture, having attained many qualifications along the way and Licentiateship of the City and Guilds Institute.

My time has mainly been spent working on large Country Estates, of which include Head Gardener at Althorp in Northamptonshire, home of Earl Spencer, and Head Gardener at Stone Gappe Hall in Yorkshire. Both of these positions have enabled me to indulge my passion of garden design and plants.

We are a small country Nursery, but are able to accommodate Garden Societies and Clubs by prior arrangement.
